About Ondina

Hi! I'm a creative and experienced tutor with a strong background in music, theater, writing, and academic subjects. I'm currently majoring in Written Arts at Bard College, and I bring a well-rounded, encouraging approach to tutoring. I earned a 42/45 on the IB diploma, which places me in the top tier globally--this program is known for being more comprehensive and writing-intensive than AP, emphasizing real understanding and critical thinking. I specialize in music and the arts--I sing, play guitar and piano, and have taken a college-level course in vocal pedagogy (how the voice works and how to teach it!). I also have a strong background in theater, creative writing, and essay writing. In addition to the arts, I've studied history, environmental science, and math, and I'm fluent in Italian, so I'm happy to support students in a range of subjects and skill levels. I'm patient, kind, and love helping each student find what excites them and learn in a way that makes sense to them!
