About Olivia

My name is Olivia and I just moved back to Los Angeles from Spain! Previously, I had been living in Santa Cruz for six years and spent time caring for an old professor of mine and her husband, they are both 77 years old. I provided transportation, went grocery shopping with them, went on walks and over trips together, drove them to medical appointments, prepared meals for them, and created a meaningful friendship with the both of them - I truly feel that we are family now. I truly loved my time with them and the time that I have spent with other older folks while volunteering. I would say that I'm an old soul and I really do love connecting with older generations, I feel that we connect so well and some of my greatest friends and mentors have been 50 years older than me!
