Taking care of those before me and raising the ones after me has been the staple of my career as an HHA, DSP, PCA, TA and a mother. I have been a caretaker officially since Oct 2007 when I began working with children with ASD for a company named DDi. Although rewarding, when I discovered being an HHA I became more inclined to begin working with the elderly and TBI clients in 2010 with the company Gurwin. The skills I've obtained include: personal care, transporting, hospice care, communication. Compassion comes natural to me, as I am a mother of 4 and a TA for Apple of his eye childcare since 2017. I don't do this work just because it's a job. I do it because I love doing it. People need people. I have the physical stamina and the medical knowledge to care for people who just need a companion to a loved one who is passing on. My availability is flexible and I work on the weekends.
