I have worked in the cleaning industry for many years, as side work. While my day to day job is as a real estate paralegal, I have always enjoyed getting a manual labor job on the side. From 2009 until 2022, I spent my weekends working at a cat's boarding facility cleaning and tending to the cats. While I was there, I learned the essence of a cleaning routine and the proper way to approach animals. It was also a good lesson in cleaning products. Then from 2023 until 2025, I did some housekeeping for an elderly woman in my neighborhood. Here I learned the importance of doing just as the client would like, how to share space with someone as I clean, and doing things in a timely manner.
