Hi there! My name is Olivia. I grew up in Vermont where I studied elementary education at Middlebury College. I'm currently living in Brooklyn while completing an MFA in creative writing at NYU. I have experience caring for children as a full-time nanny, preschool teacher, and outdoor educator. I'm currently hoping to work between 1-2 days per week. I'm so excited to get to know you and your kiddos! Offering love and care to young kids feels like one of the most important things I get to do in the world. I've always felt quite connected to my own inner child and love spending time listening, laughing, and being in imaginative worlds with little ones. I'd describe my personality as gentle, caring, and perceptive. I love working with all ages. I have a particular interest in learning to become a doula and thus am especially excited about getting to work with newborn babies. *Note: I am unable to begin nannying until mid-October. Olivia was the first nanny we’ve ever hired and she will be a very hard act to follow. From day one, she made her feel comfortable and at ease in her company. My husband and I work from home and she was a wonderful addition to our space. She became part of our family and we could full heartedly trust her with our baby. Not everyone is a “baby person”, and yet she is! She was able to genuinely slow down and meet her where she was at. We would have kept her if she wasn’t moving! Highly recommend.
