Hi there! I recently left the insurance industry, where I worked as an underwriter for three years, to return to what I'm most passionate about - working with children. Before that, I spent over three years as a third-grade teacher and have experience across grades K-6. I hold a degree in Elementary Education from Illinois State University, with an ESL endorsement, and maintain my educator license. My background includes roles as a lifeguard, swim instructor, camp counselor, and preschool aide, giving me well-rounded experience with kids of all ages. I've been certified in CPR/First Aid for infants, children, and adults in the past, and am happy to recertify if needed. I love engaging kids through games, arts & crafts, music, storytelling - you name it! I'm also glad to help with homework and any housework.
