Past history of working on an ambulance as an emergency medical technician, nationally certified NREMT. Experience with end of life care as well as a certification for palliative care and end of life care. Making a positive impact in the lives of adults and seniors is why I became a caregiver. I have three years of experience providing transportation, running errands, light housekeeping, and preparing meals. I am also trained in CPR and First Aid. I have some college education. My approach is patient, calm, compassionate, and empathetic. I strive to create a comfortable environment for those in my care. I can de-escalate stressful situations, redirect attention, and handle confusion, agitation, or behavioral changes. I also incorporate memory care activities and sensory engagement into care. I always follow the family's preferred communication method. I hope to bring peace of mind to your family, knowing your loved one is in caring hands.
