About Olivia

Caring for children is more than a job for me; it's a genuine passion. For the past three years, I've had the joy of caring for children aged newborn to 15 with a special fondness for toddlers and preschoolers. I first began babysitting at age 12 after taking the babysitting course, then in 2022 I got my first job in childcare as a summer camp counselor. I also worked as a gymnastics coach teaching children ages 1-15 and coaching private lessons, then I transitioned to childcare before and after school for the YMCA. I am friendly but also comfortable setting and maintaining household rules. I communicate with parents at pickup and follow their preferred method. I enjoy engaging children in outdoor activities and educational games. I am comfortable caring for up to four children. I am happy to help out with light housekeeping and I also have experience with special needs children, growing up with a sister who is on the spectrum, I then took an internship in special needs classrooms
