About Olivia

Hello everyone my name is Olivia. I am currently looking for a new family to work with during my next 6 months finishing school! I am graduating this spring with my degree in Early childhood education with a minor in ecology. I have experience with all ages and specialize in those with special needs. A little bit about me I grew up as a younger sibling to a sister with a rare genetic disorder which involves developmental delays and epilepsy. I thoroughly enjoy the outdoors from the rocks to the trees it all interests me. I like to be engaged with the children and do my best to avoid a lot of screen time as I grew up without screens. I use a gentle/Montessori approach and implement this through daily collaborative routines, feelings cards and daily check ins. I like to keep the children motivated to keep with the schedules, one of the ways I do this is to have a Friday theme day of the kids choice! In the past children have chosen bake days, rock climbing, and lots of dress up parties!
