About Olivia

Hello everyone my name is Via. I am a student at Central studying Geology. I have not been in a nannying position since spring of 2023 due to a career switch into seasonal ecological positions across the states! Before my move out west I lived in the surrounding DC area and worked as a house manager/nanny for 4 years. I have experience with all ages and prioritize families with special needs children. A little bit about me: I grew up as a younger sibling to a sister with a rare genetic disorder which involves developmental delays and epilepsy. I thoroughly enjoy nature, from rock formations, braided rivers, and old growth trees it all interests me! I like to be engaged with the children and encourage critical thinking. I do NOT participate in screen time usages (school required expections) I prioritize emotional regulation, critical thinking, life skills and connection with our earth. I aim to encourage, fun integrated lessons lead by the child's curiosities.
