I am currently a student. I am finishing up my spring semester in the Childhood Inclusive Education program, and am loving every minute of it! I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old, and have enjoyed working with children ever since. I worked at the Boys and Girls Club until I left for college, and it was the most rewarding job I ever had, which is why I am eager to receive my teaching degree. I also have experience caring for a family with 3 children for 5 years. When I started babysitting for this family, the youngest was a newborn, the middle child was 5, and the oldest was 8. I got them off the bus, prepared meals, read to/with them, and played games with them. I also cared for their pets & cleaned the house. During my fall semester, I was placed at Elementary in a self-contained special education room. I developed a relationship with each student and really began to feel like this is what I was meant to do.
