About Olivia

I've wanted to work with kids for as long as I can remember. Right out of high school, I started studying child development with a focus on children with special needs and started working for a preschool in one of their daycare classrooms. Shortly after, I had the opportunity to work in agriculture and animal husbandry. For the last several years, I have been helping manage a herd of heritage breeding goats. Caring for over 50 baby goats at a time, I've learned the importance of hard work, diligence, patience and attention to detail. It's a regular reminder of how much I love having a share in the process of growth and development. My personal life is filled with kids - babysitting for friends, hosting regular kid farm visits, and tutoring in math. I care about limiting screen time and encouraging hands on play and exploration. My goal is to help foster curiosity and confidence as they grow.
