I've cared for children as long as I remember, starting w/ my siblings. I babysat consistently from 12-22, caring for a variety of children - different ages, dispositions, abilities, and group sizes. I nannied for 1 family for 2 years in my mid 20s, and we're family to this day. My responsibilities spanned many parts of the children's lives. Safety 1st, beyond that nutrition, schoolwork, activities both for fun and development, among other areas. I'm comfortable helping w/ childcare in any day to day context, and occasional special events. Although I haven't worked in childcare for some time, I've stayed involved in the lives of many children - my nephews, friends' children, and my little sister through the BBBS program. Olivia is a kind and gentle young woman who loves children. She plays with her nieces and her nephew in a way that keeps the children interested and engaged. They readily go to her when she is near. She has been a nanny/sitter for many families over the years, beginning when she was 12 years old. She is a very responsible and level headed young woman and moms trust her because she uses reason, common sense, kindness and love with the children in her care. She is very honest and trustworthy in her character and her kind spirit is a welcome change from the stressful world around us. I highly recommend her to any family.
