As a Home Care Aide at Arcadia Home Care and Staffing, I provided essential companionship and care to elderly clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. I closely followed individualized care plans to meet each client specific needs, which included giving medication reminders, showering my client, assisting with personal hygiene, transferring client, laundry, shopping and maintaining a clean and safe living environment. My role was centered on promoting independence and dignity while offering emotional support and a sense of security. My clients view me as family and I have always been complimented on my cooking skills. A lot of my clients haven't been able to get a home cooked meal in a while and loved the fact that I prepared breakfast, lunch and dinner for them with love and care and seasoning.
