About Oliver

I'd describe my personality as caring, silly, and responsible. As the oldest of four siblings, childcare has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I began working with kids when I was 13. At the time, my family lived in Manhattan, and because of my parents' schedules, it was my responsibility to take care of my youngest brother who was in second grade. My responsibilities included picking him up from school, bringing him to extracurricular activities, taking him around the city, and helping him with his homework. A few years later, when I was studying abroad in Shanghai, I was a live-in nanny for a family with three boys. My responsibilities ranged from bringing the boys to soccer practice, helping with English, Chinese, and Math homework, and taking care of the boys when they were unscheduled. Since then, I've had a variety of experiences babysitting, whether for my neighbors and their 8-month-old son, or with teenagers who need transportation around Los Angeles.
