About Olaya

I am a UCLA graduate with honors. Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my nine-year tutoring career. I hold a college degree and specialize in helping students from elementary through high school excel in subjects ranging from English and Science to the arts. My teaching philosophy centers on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning. By observing your unique interaction with new material, I adapt my methods--using visual aids, hands-on activities, or discussions--to suit your needs. I break complex concepts into manageable steps and connect them to your personal interests to maintain momentum. I believe open communication with you and your family is essential to building a supportive, collaborative environment. Seeing your confidence grow as you master new skills remains the most rewarding part of my work. I look forward to helping you achieve your academic goals and discovering the joy of learning together.
