About Odalys

Hi! I'm Odalys, a certified NYC elementary school teacher currently teaching first grade in a bilingual setting. I specialize in early literacy (phonics, decoding, fluency), foundational math skills, and Spanish language instruction. I support English Language Learners, dual-language students, and children who need targeted academic intervention. I use structured, research-based strategies inspired by the Science of Reading to build strong reading foundations in both English and Spanish. My teaching style is patient, structured, and encouraging. I focus on helping students build confidence while strengthening core skills step-by-step. As both a teacher and a mom, I understand the importance of consistency, communication, and creating a positive learning environment.
