Hello my name is Obdulia, my nick name is Jamie. I have over 15 years of experience, I first started as a caregiver for visiting angels when I was 19 years old. I have worked with many caregiving agency's since then. I have worked in hospitals to support clients after surgery, senior homes, convalescent homes, rehabilitation hospitals and privately in private homes as well. I have experience with bed bound, stroke victims, Multiple Sclerosis, dementia, memory care, Alzheimer's, clients healing from fractures or surgery. I also have experience with keeping too and following physical, occupational and speech therapy for my clients. Jamie is one of the most kind and patient people I know. Not only does my sister have high needs due to a traumatic brain injury but our mother then came down with terminal cancer. Jamie was our weekend person who stepped in to help us through this difficult time. When my sister would wake multiple Times at night for minor things, Jamie would calmly tell her she just needs to rest and go back to sleep. Also Jamie is a good cook so I wouldn’t worry that my family was eating out of a can or having ramen all the time. Finally having a Spanish speaker helped us communicate better with our weekend gardener especially if we needed something done differently or had questions about paying them. Great at communicating with the family too.
