About Nyla

Hi, I'm Nyla! I'm 21, based in Deptford, and I'm a computer science major in college. I've been working with kids for 7 years and tutoring is honestly my favorite part of it. I tutor math (elementary through precalculus and trigonometry), reading and writing, languages, and computer science or intro coding for kids who are curious about it. I'm also happy to just be homework help and keep a student on track week to week. My approach is patient and low pressure. I'd rather a kid actually understand why something works than memorize steps and forget it a month later. I meet students where they are, whether they're behind and need to catch up or ahead and getting bored. I have reliable transportation and a flexible schedule, and I'm open to in-person or online sessions. Happy to talk about what your child is working on and where they need the most support.
