About Nyla

Hello! My name is Nyla. I'm 20 years old. I started working with kids professionally when I was 15 years old. I currently work at a childcare center with ages 6 weeks to 10 years old. I love working with children, my favorite age group are infants (6 weeks-18 months). I'm currently in school for Radiography (X-ray Technician) and my Childhood Development Associate Certification! I plan to go to school further in the future for Music Therapy. I like working with kids because they give me multiple different perspectives on life. Each kid has a different personality and I love learning from them. One thing you should know about me is my passion for music. I believe that music is much more than just sounds and words and really has the power to heal and soothe. My end goal career wise is to be a Music Therapist for children and young adults. The work that is done with kids is always so inspiring and rewarding to witness that I intend to do it for as long as I can!
