About Nyah

I'm an education student at the University of North Texas. I've taught high school special education for 2 years. One year in the autism behavioral unit, & was promoted to content mastery, giving focused help to students grades 9-12 with all disabilities in all content areas for the next school year until I decided to go back to school. I create a lot of my own educational content aides for my work in schools and as a business consultant/trainer. Before that I taught middle school math & did tutoring and mentoring in Oak Cliff with City Year/Americorps for a year. I coach basketball & do skills training. I've worked as an after-school teacher at Boals Elementary in Frisco & Lake Dallas Elementary, working with students K-6 on school work & AlphaBest fitness and STEM curriculum. I also do vocal lessons for young singers. I just love helping kids and want to better myself as an educator.
