About Nubia

I'm a native New Yorker and Education Specialist with a passion for helping students build confidence and reach their full potential. I started tutoring after graduating from Hunter College in 2019 and truly enjoy providing the extra support and individualized attention that can make a lasting difference. I believe every child learns differently, and sometimes all they need is patience, encouragement, and someone who believes in them. in the Fall, I will start graduate studies in speech pathology, which continues to strengthen my understanding of communication and learning. Outside of work, I enjoy making art and reading, and I love bringing creativity, empathy, and enthusiasm into every tutoring session. My goal is to create a positive, supportive environment where students feel confident, capable, and excited to learn.
