About Nubia

We feel so fortunate to have had Nubia as our nanny. She joined our family in July 2024 to care for our 4-month-old son and 2-year-old daughter. This was our first experience having someone outside of our family care for our children, and Nubia made the transition seamless. Her patience, warmth, and deep experience immediately put us at ease. Nubia treats our children as if they were her own, and it’s clear how much love and care she pours into every day with them. She has been a huge support in helping our now 3-year-old potty train, learn responsibility, and gain independence with “big kid” tasks like getting dressed and putting on her shoes. She has even taught both of our little ones Spanish! Beyond childcare, Nubia is incredibly well-rounded—she’s an excellent cook who prepares delicious, healthy meals and somehow always gets the kids to try (and enjoy) new foods. She is dependable, trustworthy, and full of helpful advice. Nubia has become an important part of our family, and while we are so sad to be moving into a new chapter with preschool and grandparents stepping in, we will always be grateful for the love, knowledge, and stability she brought to our children’s lives. Simply put, Nubia is a true gem, and any family would be lucky to have her.
