My name is Norma. I have lived in Plant City all my life. I have 10+ years of experience taking care of seniors, both personally and professionally. I worked for an ALF for a year and a half, where I cared for up to 5 ladies myself. I cooked, cleaned, gave showers, ordered & gave medicines. I have experience in conversing with therapists, nurse practitioners, doctors and etc. Prior to that, I helped take care of an elderly person who was a friend. I also cared for my grandmother & step father. I have all the current certification for CPR, Alzheimer care, First Aid, infection control, HIV/Aids & DNR orders, etc. I also have a background check. Prior to my being a senior caregiver, I had my own house cleaning business for 12 years, however when my mom passed away, I decided I wanted to do something to help take care of people, and my path led me to senior citizens. I really enjoy it.
