About Norman
After 25 years, I retired from teaching elementary school in 2022 to care for my father full-time. It was a beautiful yet challenging experience. On-the-job training doesn't begin to describe it! It wasn't always smooth, but caring for my Dad was an honor, a privilege, and it left a powerful, positive mark. I felt blessed that I could repay him for the wonderful life I've had. I worked with children ages 5-11 for 25 years, then I spent a year with my Dad, as well as other seniors. I feel like I've come full circle. Though I'm professionally in my "retirement phase," it doesn't mean I'm retired from life. Helping others is my form of gratitude for what has been given to me.
