Hello! I am a retired credentialed elementary teacher licensed by the state of California. I have primarily worked with students in grades 2-5. I also worked briefly in special education, assisting students who were hard of hearing, aged 3-10. Teaching self-control and personal accountability, along with using humor and creativity, was a staple in my teaching career. Working with students who were unfairly labeled "unteachable" or "incorrigible" was both a joy and a challenge. The motto was simple: "Learning should be fun!" My primary tutoring areas are math and language arts.
