About Norma

Norma began the nanny position by arriving late on her first day and requesting an early departure. Unfortunately, the following day, my child became sick with a fever. Out of an abundance of caution to protect Norma's health, we informed her we would not require her services that week and would keep her updated on the child's recovery. I continued to communicate daily throughout the week to provide updates. The following week, Norma informed me her child was sick and that she wouldn't be able to come in. I expressed our understanding and well wishes for her child's recovery. However, the following day, Norma did not arrive during the agreed upon time and did not communicate her absence beforehand. I contacted her after about an hour of her not showing, she responded about an hour later stating her child is sick every 3-4 weeks and that she would not work for the remainder of the year. I’m completely sympathetic with children getting sick. I am writing this review so others are aware of her reliability.
