I am not new to caregiving and I am available to work. Can't change that on my profile. Making a positive impact on people's lives is my goal. I am a compassionate caregiver dedicated to supporting the well-being and independence of adults and seniors. My approach is patient, calm, professional, and detail-oriented. I understand the importance of creating a comfortable environment for care recipients. I communicate with families through verbal updates, text, or phone calls, always following their preferred method. I am skilled at adapting to changing routines and handling confusion, agitation, (dementia), or behavioral changes. I have experience de-escalating stressful situations and redirecting attention. I am CPR certified and First Aid trained. Over 5 years of experience as a live-in caregiver. Provided in-home care for a wheelchair-bound stroke survivor with limited mobility. Assisted with daily medication, prescriptions and new refills. Fully bilingual English & Spanish.
