About Norma

I am a Christian mother of two successful young adults. I am a kind, loving and caring person. Please don't let my age discourage you. I am a highly motivated multi-tasker. I will provide a fun, loving and learning atmosphere at all times. I also have experience with ADHD and other special needs. I currently work for the Iowa City Community School District as a para-educator working with second graders. I have passed all drug screenings and background checks for the district. These are a few of the positions I have held over the years working with children: a summer nanny for a family of six, a mother's helper for a family of five and a school bus driver in which I still hold my CDL. I also currently coach youth sports ranging from toddlers to 12 years old during the spring, summer and fall seasons. I am a nonsmoker, a nondrinker, and a fun-loving person who enjoys working with children of all ages. I can provide references from former family employers and my current youth sports families.
