About Norma

I am a positive and energetic mother of two who recently retired from a 30+ year career devoted to teaching and education. Having recently moved to Los Angeles from Illinois, I am now seeking to become part of a wonderful family and put my love, care, and skills to good use. In the past few years, I have babysat children of my co-workers, nieces, and close family friends. My responsibilities have included helping them with after-school activities, providing pickups and drop-offs, cooking dinner, helping with homework, playtime, and assisting with night routines. I am active, motivated, and creative. I have experience working with children of all ages. However, in the past decade I've specialized in children between the ages of 5-8 and with learning disabilities. I also have experience in household management, I'm a great organizer and skilled cook. I love crocheting, arts and crafts and spending time with my Boston Terrier.
