About Nora

Caring for kids has been a huge part of my life! I grew up with five siblings and had years of experience caring for children before my first paid babysitting job. For the past three years, I worked in special education at Cottage Grove Elementary, supporting children with a wide range of needs. I loved the work and learned so much about meeting kids where they are, helping with big emotions, and creating a safe and supportive environment. I'm also trained and certified in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, giving me tools to calmly de-escalate and support a child in crisis. Outside of childcare, I'm a professional circus artist and instructor! I'm passionate about learning through play and love getting kids moving, creating, exploring outside, making crafts, and building confidence through fun. I'm patient, playful, creative, CPR/First Aid certified, and comfortable caring for children of all ages and abilities. I'd love to become a trusted part of your family!
