As a retired social worker I feel that I can still be a help to people. My seven years of experience in care roles have solidified my passion for supporting both individuals and their families. I have a college degree and bring a compassionate and detail-oriented approach to my work. I have assisted the developmentally disabled, chronically ill clients, clients with Alzheimer's and substance abuse issues primarily alcohol. I provide respite care, personal care, and medical management assistance. I am also CPR certified. I adapt to changing routines and incorporate memory care activities. To keep families informed, I provide written daily reports and verbal updates, always respecting their preferred communication style. Creating a comfortable environment is essential to building a strong connection with those I care for. I look forward to bringing my experience and heartfelt dedication to your family.
