About Norah

My name is Norah. I am so excited to bring my experience to the plate and become part of your familial team! Whether through crafts, cooking, or outdoor sports, (I am a skilled swimmer and prioritize water safety) I strive to help every child feel safe and supported. Using your family's preferred method of communication, I will keep you updated on your child's day! Growing up, I helped care for my sister, who has autism and epilepsy, giving me firsthand experience with managing medication and responding to seizures before, during, and after they occur. I've also supported young children with special needs in school, including those who were autistic and blind. Additionally, I worked as a caregiver for an elderly, homebound woman. I prepared meals, ran errands, completed chores, cared for her dog, assisted with bathing and dressing, and provided companionship. Due to these experiences, I learned how to give a disabled person a safe and supportive environment to grow in.
