About Nompumelelo

I am delighted to recommend Nompumelelo, who has been an invaluable part of our family for many years. I first met Nompumelelo in Maryland through a mutual family friend when she was just 13 years old. She occasionally babysat for our family during her teenage years, and when she turned 18, I offered her a full-time live-out nanny position. A few years later, when our family relocated to California, I asked her to move with us, and her role naturally evolved into a full-time live-in nanny and house manager position. Over the years, Nompumelelo became much more than an employee, she became family. She helped care for our children through nearly every stage of childhood, from newborn care all the way through the teenage years. My husband, a neurosurgeon, and I both maintained demanding professional schedules, so we relied heavily on her ability to work independently, use excellent judgment, and manage multiple responsibilities with confidence and care. Nompumelelo handled school drop-offs and pickups, homework assistance, meal preparation, bedtime routines, activity planning, household organization, schedule coordination, overnights, weekends, and overall household management. She consistently ensured that our home ran smoothly and that our children were well cared for, happy, and supported. She also traveled extensively with our family, accompanying us on trips to Mexico, Hawaii, and several destinations throughout the United States. In addition, I trusted her to travel independently with our daughter for cheerleading competitions in Las Vegas, Florida, and Texas—something I would only entrust to someone with exceptional responsibility, maturity, and reliability. What has always stood out most about Nompumelelo is her dedication, warmth, professionalism, and genuine love for the children in her care. She built strong, lasting relationships with our children and played an important role in their growth and development over many years. Our daughter is now 17 years old and driving independently, and I have significantly reduced my work schedule, allowing me to spend more time at home with our son. As a result, our family’s childcare needs have changed, and we no longer require the level of full-time support that we once did. This transition is purely due to changing family circumstances and is in no way a reflection of Nompumelelo’s performance. I recommend her wholeheartedly and without hesitation.
