About Nola

Hi! I am a rising junior at the University of Delaware. While I am studying business, I have always loved working with kids and have worked as a respite for a child with special needs, a camp counselor, and currently a substitute paraprofessional for the NYC DOE. Working for the DOE in a classroom setting really helped enhance my childcare abilities as the kids ranged from 3-10 years old and I helped with behavior management, health plans (severe allergies), keeping them engaged, and dealing with large groups of kids at a time. I love spending time outside and finding new things to do in Brooklyn and Manhattan, especially during the summertime. I am creative, compassionate, and overall a hard worker who would love to assist a family by any means before the summer ends!
