About Noel

I am a college instructor and recent PhD graduate. I have a long history of care-giving, and, though I teach writing, I promise not to judge anyone's grammar. I started working with kids when I was a kid myself. I grew up the oldest cousin a large family, so I was always caring for children. As a teenager, I began babysitting for other families, and, in my 20s, I worked for Even Start. I have also worked as a tutor, and, over the years, I've gained experience working with a wide variety of students, including those with neurodivergence, physical disabilities and learning challenges. I have also worked closely with ESL students. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family and learn new skills. Currently, I'm learning how to sew. One thing you should know about me is I think children need a consistent mix of structured learning and imaginative play in order to develop fully.
