For 2 plus years we were lucky enough to have Noelle care for our mom. Not only did Noelle do an outstanding job managing medications, preparing proper diets and juggling appointments but she accomplished all this while allowing mom to keep her independence and dignity. Within a short period of time, Noelle went from a caretaker to a friend and even confident. Noelle would play card or computer games with mom helping her to maintain active brain function, as well as support and encourage mom to socialize with family and old friends.
And as a live in care taker there were many times when Noelle would baby sit great-grandchildren. Specifically a 4 year old and a 12 month old. The acceptance and care she provided them was noted when the parents came back and the kids were clean, well fed and not wanting to leave. While the foregoing is only but a few examples of Noelle's amazing capabilities, good judgement, and quick reactions she is a real find for any age or level of care.
