I adore children, the tales they tell, and the lessons we can learn from them. I've previously worked at the City of Round Rock's Clay Madsen Recreational Center's summer adaptive camp. My main duty was taking care of young people with adaptive (physical, emotional, and developmental) needs. The fact that I was promoted to lead counselor, in control of all activities and crafts (both on and off site, before, during, and after COVID-19 limitations), was fulfilling and motivating to me. I also made the decision to complete my Special Education degree at UH. I take pleasure in not being a "sit around" sitter and in maintaining the skills I acquired while working as a caregiver. I may assist with some minor housework to lessen my client's stress. I am the owner of one large dog, I am pet friendly and can provide petsitting.
