About Nkayla

Hi! My name is N'kayla, and I have a passion for caring for others. I have nearly two years of experience working in healthcare as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and am currently a nursing student. My experience has taught me the importance of patience, compassion, safety, and effective communication. I especially enjoy working with babies and young children. Through my experience on a postpartum unit, I've had the opportunity to care for newborns and support families during an exciting and sometimes overwhelming time. I understand the importance of creating a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment where children feel comfortable and parents have peace of mind. Families describe me as dependable, attentive, and easy to communicate with. I strive to provide individualized care, support daily routines, encourage learning and play, and treat every child with kindness and respect.
