About Niria

Niria has been my mother’s caregiver for the past two years. She is a woman that is extremely dedicated to her work and sets very high standards for herself and the work she does. Her work ethics are impecable. She has a great deal of knowledge in the medical field as she was a nurse in her country. Her expertise is cardiology. She knows and understands the needs of elderly patients with dementia; need for wound care and all that is required to maintain a patient current with medications; being given a clean and healthy environment, being well fed; and trying to maintain the patient mobile so as to prevent other conditions such as bed sores and pressure ulcers. She is very observant of the patient’s behaviors, interaction with family, needs, concerns and preferences. She extends the utmost of confidence guarding that she complies with rules and regulations set by the family. She treats the patient with respect, tenderness and caution. I recommend her highly. She became very much a part of our family extending her guidance, affection, understanding and compassion. When my mom passed Niria stood by us helping to provide comfort and consolation. Mom’s passing impacted her very much. My mom was never really a sociable person but with Niria she smiled, laughed and expressed her emotions. She loved listening to Niria’s stories. Mom grew to love her and looked forward to Niria’s interactions and presence. She clearly felt safe, loved and well attended. Do not hesitate to hire Niria. She is dedicated and extremely trustworthy.
