Hi, I'm Nina! I am a full time college student studying psychology and going into my sophomore year after the summer. I've had two formal years of childcare work, working as a babysitter for two brothers (ages 5, 8) , and the 3yo toddler my senior year of high school. The past nine months I have worked in a preschool classroom at the Connecticut College Child Development Lab School, with children ages 3-5. My informal experience includes taking care of my twin cousins, and niece (trust me after twins, I can handle anything). I've always really enjoyed working with kids and baby's, making sure to support their needs for movement, play, creativity, and learning. Please contact me with any questions, I am available May through mid August. Im looking for a family to form a connection with. I'm more than willing to help with housework, and assist with homework or learning activities.

Nina helped me tremendously with the transition after having my second baby, especially once my husband went back to work. She spent my first week alone with me, and she was an absolute lifesaver. She connected with my toddler instantly, giving me the time and peace of mind to care for my two-week-old newborn. She’s amazing with kids, funny, incredibly reliable, and always jumps in to help without needing to be asked. She happily ran after my toddler at the playground, came up with fun games, and kept him engaged and happy. She also cared for my newborn so I could spend some one-on-one time with my toddler, which meant so much during those first weeks. I can’t recommend Nina highly enough and will absolutely hire her again as soon as we need help.
