About Nina

I'd describe my personality as kind, energetic, and caring. I love working with kids because they keep you on your toes! No two days are ever alike, and there's always something fun to do. I started working with kids when I was about 10, so almost 10 years now. I always had family friends and neighbors asking if I could watch their kids, and I would never turned down an opportunity. I was a part-time nanny for a family with a 1 and 3-year-old for the last 8 months. In my spare time, I like to crochet, sew, and read. Lately I have gotten really into rock climbing, and I always enjoy a good hike or just being outside in nature! My skills include creativity, problem-solving, and the ability to stay calm during chaos. Kids are extremely creative, so it's important to be equally as creative when we interact with them. Not everyone works well under stress, but I have found it extremely important to have this skill when working with kids. I am CPR/First-Aid certified.
