I'm Nikohl, a full time local having moved here in 2018 from North Carolina. I fell in love with this beautiful town and I'm here to stay! I split my work time between childcare, petcare and massage therapy. Being in charge of my own schedule means I am able to book the times you want for your vacation whether it's daytime, nighttime or both!

Some of my favorite activities are time at the library, the playgrounds, playing in the snow and running up and down hallways! I'm also available as a ski/snowboard nanny (NOT instructor) for children 10 & over.

Nikohl was great with the kids. Her ability to quickly relate to them made them feel very comfortable and engaged. Our kids enjoyed all the fun and educational activities and were excited to have her watch them again and again. Nikohl is also very professional and open with parents. We would recommend!

Nikohl is an amazing caregiver to our busy son, Henry! She jumps right in to play all of his favorite activities and is incredibly patient with his nonstop energy. We feel SO lucky to have found Nikohl. If we could give her 10 out of five stars we would!!!

Nikohl has been helping us with babysitting for our 19-month-old, and it has been a really good experience. She is reliable, friendly, flexible, and seems very comfortable working with children this age.   She's active and spends a lot of time outside with my daughter, which is great. Nikohl was AMAZING! She watched my 2 1/2 and just about one year old for three nights. She made sure to send lots of updates and photos to make sure we were comfortable when we were out. We will definitely use her every time we are up In the Vail/Avon area!

We hired Nikohl for our 2.5 year old and 14 month old children! She is awesome! Our kids loved her. She was always on time, loving, fun and great at following instructions! She also got the kids outside as much as possible and sent me updates throughout the day! We can't wait to hire her again for our next trip to Beaver Creek!

Nichol was a true gem!  Very warm, inviting and professional!  Listened to directions for 3 different kiddos with ease and they all loved her and had a blast :)  We would trust Nichol with our child any day.

We hired Nikohl for 2 weeks during Feb 2022. Nikohl was amazing with our two kids who were 2.5 yo and 4.5 months at the time. She was punctual every day and easy to work with, especially if we needed to run a little late. She came with fun ideas for our toddler, as she needed some extra consoling when mom and dad left to go skiing. We worked together on ideas as well! She also would send us picture updates that helped assure us everything was going great. Highly recommend!

Nikohl watched our 14 month old son for 2 full days while we were up in Vail skiing for the weekend. We found Nikohl to be warm, engaging, and very hands on. She brought a bag of toys/activities and took G out and about on walks into town and visits to the library. She was very communicative and sent us texts and photos throughout the day of their adventures. Would wholeheartedly recommend Nikohl and can't wait for her to babysit again in a few short weeks.

Nikohl was amazing! So kind considerate and friendly! Very trustworthy! We hired her for her nanny services for our 4mo old baby during our vacation to Vail (from Chicago) for several days of our stay. We spoke on the phone at length and that was wonderful to connect ahead of time especially since on a trip. 
I cannot recommend her enough-professional and a good heart is the best when you're trusting someone with your children.  Oh and if you're bringing your dog it's amazing she can dog sit too if you need!! 
We will be returning next year and will hire her again!

Nikohl was an absolute pleasure and couldn't have been easier to work with. It was our first time leaving our one year old with a non relative/friend and Nikohl made it easy. She is laid back and professional, well prepared and had a gentle confidence about her. She brought toys, showed up on time, sent photo updates throughout each day, and jumped right in. Nikhol was the only reason our vacation really felt like a vacation. She watched our 20 month old every day almost the whole day while my husband and I skied. We video chatted the month before which I appreciated having never met in advance, and she immediately put me at ease with her confident fun personality. Every day she brought a bag of toys and games so my daughter LOVED when we left the two of them to play. She also took her on a couple nearby outings (with our permission) so it was like a vacation for our girl too :) She even offered to watch our four year old as well on a day when he got out early from ski school even though it wasn't necessary. Beyond being punctual and responsible, I most appreciated her fun easygoing nature and only wish she were closer to us where we live!

Nikohl takes care of our pets and two boys. Nikohl is a rare find. She engages and plays with our kids and dogs which is hard to find these days. She is quick to think of fun adventures outside or in the house. She is reliable, trustworthy and is an interesting and intelligent person who has traveled and has many life experiences to share. You will not find her on her phone while playing and engaging. She sends tons of photos of her adventures with our kids and pets, and  you feel comforted that you kids or pets are in good hands. 

I highly recommend Nikohl. You will get a person who lives with integrity, kindness and a love of life.

Nikohl was fantastic, full of energy and enthusiasm to help our daughter (18m) have fun without us while we were on the slopes. 

Nikohl is also very easy going, we had some changes to our schedule, but we really worked it out without missing a beat. She also was always coming up with a plan to manage our daughter every moment of her stay. 

We are lucky to have had such a great mountain nanny who we felt we could trust and rely on from the moment she walked in the door. I plan to hire Nikohl again when we are in town.

Nikhol was/is exceptional! 

She's a lovely, professional, punctual and caring babysitter! 

We can't wait to continue working with her as our number 1 sitter while we're at our mountain home! She was energetic and friendly with our three children and they had nothing but great things to say about her, the morning after! Our dog loves her too!

Nikohl did a great job watching our 15 month old for two days while we went skiing!  She was very communicative and shared lots of updates throughout the day.  She also did a great job following our schedule/instructions.  My daughter had a lot of fun - they went to the park and even took our pup for a walk.  I definitely plan to hire Nikohl in the future when we are back in Avon!

Nikohl was amazing! She was super flexible and was a great communicator over our vacation. Our kids loved her energy & talked about her long after she left. We felt incredibly comfortable leaving our 1 and 3 year old with her and can't wait to come back in the winter to ski and have her watch them then.
