I've had animals in my life for as long as I can remember -- hermit crabs, goldfish, cats, dogs, snakes, you name it. Growing up surrounded by so many different kinds of pets taught me how to read their needs, earn their trust, and genuinely enjoy caring for them, no matter the species. Friends and family have always known me as the go-to person when they need someone reliable (and a little animal-obsessed) to watch over their pets. Whether it's a playful pup who needs a good walk, a shy cat who takes some warming up, or something more exotic that needs special care, I'm comfortable with it all. Pets have always felt like an extension of family to me, and I think they can sense that -- I've never met an animal I didn't click with.
