About Nikkayla

Hello! I'm a mom, psychology student, and aspiring licensed family childcare provider offering nurturing, home-based care in a calm and cozy environment. I currently care for my 18-month-old daughter at home and welcome children who thrive in a smaller, family-centered setting. My approach to childcare emphasizes play-based learning, sensory exploration, outdoor experiences, and predictable routines that help children feel safe and supported. I believe in following each child's individual temperament and creating an environment where they can learn, explore, and simply enjoy being little. I am currently in the process of becoming a licensed family childcare provider. Care is provided exclusively in my home, where children receive individualized attention in a warm, low-stimulation environment designed to foster curiosity, creativity, and connection. I am CPR & First Aid certified and insured.
