About Nicole

I'm calm, understanding, and I listen well. I meet people where they are. I have spent a lot of time teaching in various capacities. I taught kids to swim while I was in high school, and later worked as a lifeguard at a Boys & Girls Club camp. I've taught freshman English composition at SUNY New Paltz. I've worked with prospective college and grad students to help draft and edit their application essays. Currently I coach youth swimming two nights a week for a swim club in Pine Bush. I'm a teacher aide in a first grade classroom in New Paltz. I am now in school working towards teacher certification. I have my MA in English Literature, but I am competent in the other school subjects: History, Math, Science, and Spanish Language. In my spare time, I like to go for walks, read, make paper crafts, write, sing, and swim. I'm learning to garden and bake, and I love learning new skills in general.
