I'm going to school to become an elementary school teacher and have an absolute passion for children. I was in the Elementary Teacher Education program at MJC which earned me an A. A. in Liberal Studies (Teacher Prep.), a second A. A. in Social and Behavioral Science (Child Development), and a Communication Studies certificate. I'm now currently at CSU Stan pursuing my B. A. in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Exceptional Children and Youth. I love seeing the things that I've learned in my education play out in the children that I'm around as well as using the skills that I've gained. I've been babysitting/nannying professionally for the past 9 years and have been with my current family for around 5. I have experience with children ranging in age from infancy-13 years. I have my own car and multiple references. I'm looking for a new position because the family I'm currently with has kids that are getting older so they're using me less and have given me their blessing to move on.
