About Nicole

I am 34 years old and I was born in Colombia. I have been living in the states for almost 17 years. I speak fluent English and Spanish, as well. I took ESL classes for about year. I also attended business school in Colombia. I have had various child care jobs for a total of 10 years of experience. One of my experiences as a nanny was taking care a newborn in Manhattan. I worked with her for 3 years. Some of my duties here include bathing, preparing lunch, and housekeeping for the baby. I also took her out to do various activities such as gym classes, museums, parks, play-dates, etc. Another part of my experience is my present job. I started when the baby was 2 months old and now he is almost three years. It is a full-time job position. I have been with a family for two and a half years and I am looking for another family because the baby will start full-time school soon. I absolutely love kids, and I enjoy everyday my work as a nanny.

Nicky has been an incredible caregiver to our family for the past two years. She cared for our older daughter from newborn through toddlerhood and supported both of our girls as a night nurse, always with patience, calm, and genuine love. She has a rare ability to handle challenging moments — soothing a crying newborn while managing a toddler — without stress or frustration, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. She consistently went above and beyond with extended hours, date nights, and during times when one of us was traveling. Nicky was also wonderful with our dog and two cats, treating them as part of the family. She is an excellent cook and regularly prepared delicious, nutritious meals for our toddler. She also speaks fluent Spanish and shared that beautifully with our older daughter. Our situation has changed, but we truly hope Nicky finds another family as lucky as we were to receive her care. We recommend her wholeheartedly.
