About Nicole

Hello! I am a reliable, kind, responsible, and creative individual who absolutely adores children. As a nanny, I play a large role in the development of the children I care for and I never take that huge responsibility for granted. I believe it is essential for me and my charge to form a strong and unique bond based on understanding and respect. No matter the age of the child, I am always sure to treat them with the respect due to any human being; I listen to their needs/wants, grant validity to their emotions, and treat them as I would want to be treated (a value I diligently install in my charges). When it comes to their development and education, I prefer to implement child-led learning through play and exploration. I enjoy engaging in all types of activities and play. It's easy, and important, to turn everyday occurrences into learning opportunities. I feel strongly that if a child's interests can be integrated into their education, they are far more open and amenable to learning.
