I worked as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a year and a half, supporting children from infancy through early adolescence, including nonverbal clients. I implemented behavior intervention plans addressing stimming, elopement, self-injurious behaviors, and emotional regulation. I assisted with daily living skills such as potty training, clothing changes, hygiene, and ensuring safe play. I focused heavily on floor play and child-led interaction to promote engagement, independence, and social integration. My priority was always maintaining safety while supporting each child's individual growth. I truly enjoyed this work and am currently pursuing Child Development studies to gain additional hands-on experience.
