About Nicole
Experience: 10 yrs
I currently work with special needs children ranging from 2-12 providing ABA services. I have been an RBT for the past 7 years working on developing skills with each client while providing behavior management. I graduated from ODU in 2020 with my Bachelors in Psychology and have considered going back to school to further my education in ABA. While working in the field of behavior therapy, it has given me experience with children diagnosed with autism as well as ADHD and OCD. I previously worked at a preschool where I was an afternoon school age teacher and a PK3 teacher during the day. As a teenager I always found myself picking up babysitting jobs here and there as well as being a dance teacher's assistant working with 3-8-year-olds. I have always worked with children and continue to have a passion for helping them grow and learn through experiences and guidance. We have known Nicole for years and she has cared for our son with special needs since he was about 3-4 years old. Having child with severe autism and was completely non verbal it was nerve wrecking trying to find someone to trust to care for our angel baby. But Nicole wasn't just a therapist to him or a care giver to him. She became like family. Our son absolutely adores her. Thats his lady lol we absolutely love her and we were so heartbroken when she had to move away. We miss her tremendously and whoever is a kiddo or person to be able to have her is absolutely lucky to to have her. She not only cares for your kiddo, she grows a bond with them and truly loves and cares for them. I trust her completely with my boy and that's huge for us. I will say I am jealous of whoever gets to be her new kiddos lol We miss her so much. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!!
